Renault is all set to bring back one of its most popular nameplates, the Duster, in an all-new avatar. The New Renault Duster 2025 will return as a next-generation mid-size SUV, built on a fresh global platform shared with Dacia, and promises to offer rugged styling, advanced features, turbo powertrains, and better space than ever before. The new model aims to compete head-to-head with segment leaders like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, and Maruti Grand Vitara.
All-New Design With D-Cut DRLs, Chunky Wheel Arches, and Strong SUV Stance
The New Duster will feature a completely redesigned exterior, inspired by the global Dacia Duster. Expect a bold front grille with D-cut LED DRLs, sharp LED headlamps, wide air dam, and a raised bonnet for a muscular front look. The SUV will also get chunky black cladding, flared wheel arches, new diamond-cut alloys, and a more upright profile that screams ruggedness. The rear will feature sleek tail lamps, sculpted bumpers, and a tailgate spoiler for a sporty finish.
Spacious Cabin With Modern Dashboard and Digital Tech
Inside, the Renault Duster 2025 will offer a larger and more premium cabin, designed for both families and adventure-seekers. The dashboard will be completely refreshed with a floating touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, and soft-touch materials. Expect features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, cruise control, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and connected car technology across variants.
New Turbo Petrol Engine With Manual and Automatic Gearbox Options
The New Duster is expected to be powered by a 1.3L or 1.5L turbo-petrol engine, producing between 130–150 bhp, mated to a 6-speed manual and CVT/automatic gearbox options. The Duster may also receive a mild hybrid variant for better fuel efficiency. While diesel is unlikely, Renault may explore a strong hybrid powertrain in the future. The new platform will offer a more refined drive with improved suspension tuning for both city and highway use.
Built for Tough Roads With High Ground Clearance and Strong Safety Features
Staying true to its roots, the new Duster will offer high ground clearance, skid plates, roof rails, and a tough suspension setup to handle rough roads. It will be built on Renault-Nissan’s CMF-B modular platform, which supports advanced safety structures. Standard features will include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and ISOFIX child mounts. Higher variants may also offer ADAS Level 1 features like lane departure warning and autonomous emergency braking.
India Launch Timeline and Expected Pricing
The Renault New Duster is expected to be launched in India by late 2025 or early 2026, following its global debut. The expected starting price could be around ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom) for base petrol variants, going up to ₹16–17 lakh for higher-spec automatic or hybrid variants. Renault may position it as a value-for-money alternative to Creta and Seltos, banking on brand nostalgia and improved features.
Renault Duster Is Ready to Roar Back With Bigger Value and Tougher Looks
With rugged SUV styling, spacious interiors, turbo-petrol powertrains, and next-gen safety tech, the Renault New Duster is all set for a strong comeback in India. For buyers who value practicality, durability, and European engineering at an accessible price, the Duster 2025 could be a perfect all-rounder in the mid-size SUV segment.
