Honda City Sport Tipped to Launch With Sportier Design, Turbo Petrol & ADAS Safety

Honda is reportedly working on a sportier variant of the popular City sedan, dubbed Honda City Sport. Aimed at younger buyers and enthusiasts, the car will blend sporty looks with a more dynamic driving experience, while retaining Honda’s focus on safety and comfort.

Aggressive Front Fascia, Black Accents and Sporty Alloys

The City Sport could debut with sportier bumpers, a black honeycomb grille, gloss black ORVMs, side skirts, and dual-tone 16-inch alloys. A rear spoiler, shark-fin antenna, and smoked LED tail lamps are expected to give it a more athletic stance.

1.0L VTEC Turbo Petrol With Paddle Shifters

Under the hood, the City Sport may be powered by a 1.0L turbocharged VTEC petrol engine, delivering 120 PS power and 173 Nm torque. Mated to a CVT gearbox with paddle shifters, it is expected to offer both fuel efficiency and fun-to-drive dynamics.

ADAS Suite With Lane Assist, Auto Emergency Braking & Cruise Control

Honda may equip the City Sport with its Honda Sensing ADAS suite, featuring adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, collision mitigation braking, and auto high beam. It will also include 6 airbags, ESC, hill assist, and rear parking camera.

Sporty Interiors With Red Stitching and Premium Infotainment

Inside, the sedan may feature black upholstery with red stitching, a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and a semi-digital instrument cluster.

Honda City Sport Could Be the Perfect Blend of Style, Power and Safety

With a turbocharged petrol engine, sporty design upgrades, and ADAS features, the Honda City Sport is expected to be a solid alternative for buyers looking for performance and road presence in a reliable midsize sedan.
