Kia has brought adrenaline to the EV market with the launch of its most powerful electric car in India the Kia EV6 GT. Building upon the success of the standard EV6, the GT version takes the design and performance to the next level. It features a sportier stance with GT-specific bumpers, neon brake calipers, aggressive 21-inch alloy wheels, and a subtle spoiler. The aerodynamic silhouette and sharp LED lighting give it a futuristic yet premium presence on Indian roads. Inside, it offers a performance-focused cockpit with GT-branded bucket seats, suede upholstery, neon accents, and a panoramic curved display setup. Under the hood, or rather under the floor, the Kia EV6 GT packs a dual-motor AWD setup delivering a jaw-dropping 576 bhp and 740 Nm torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, rivaling some high-end sports cars. It comes equipped with GT Drive Mode, electronically controlled suspension, an e-LSD (limited slip differential), and performance-tuned steering to give drivers track-ready control on any terrain. The EV6 GT isn’t just fast it’s thrilling, precise, and confidence-inspiring, whether you’re cruising on highways or testing limits on twisty roads.
Large Battery with DC Fast Charging
The EV6 GT is powered by a 77.4kWh lithium-ion battery pack, offering an impressive 500+ km claimed range (WLTP). Thanks to 800V ultra-fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80% in just 18 minutes using a 350kW DC fast charger. It also supports standard AC charging and vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, letting it power external devices like laptops or even appliances. For everyday and long-distance use, the charging versatility makes it extremely practical.
Luxury Tech and Safety Features
Beyond performance, the Kia EV6 GT offers a host of comfort and tech features. It includes a dual 12.3-inch curved touchscreen setup, 14-speaker Meridian sound system, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, augmented reality HUD, and advanced ambient lighting. It’s also loaded with safety, including Level 2 ADAS features, 8 airbags, 360-degree camera, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking offering both thrill and peace of mind.
Kia EV6 GT Price in India
The Kia EV6 GT is expected to be priced around ₹68–72 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, positioning it as a performance EV for enthusiasts who want the thrill of speed without giving up luxury, tech, or practicality. It will be available via the CBU route in limited numbers, and bookings have already begun at select dealerships.
